The agreement between you and TradeLens AI while the product is in private beta. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated 16 August 2026.

1. What TradeLens is, and is not

TradeLens AI is a post-trade reflection journal. You record trades you have already taken; the app organises them and produces written reviews of your process, psychology, and performance.

It is not financial advice. TradeLens does not generate trade ideas, signals, predictions, entry or exit recommendations, or any opinion about what you should do next. Everything it produces describes trades that already happened.

Nothing in the app or on this site is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. We are not brokers, dealers, investment advisers, or financial planners, and no relationship of that kind is created by using TradeLens.

Trading carries risk, including the risk of losing more than you deposit on leveraged instruments. Your decisions remain entirely your own, and their outcomes are entirely yours. Patterns visible in your journal describe the past and do not predict the future.

2. The beta

TradeLens is in private, invite-only beta and is provided free of charge. That has consequences you are agreeing to:

  • The service is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind.
  • There is no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable, slow, or broken without notice.
  • There are no backups. Data can be lost, and if it is we cannot recover it. Export your trades regularly.
  • Features may change or be removed. The beta may end.

If a paid plan is introduced, you will be told before anything is charged. Nothing here signs you up for a future payment.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. One account is for one person.

New accounts require a verified email address for sign-in and password recovery. If an older beta account has no verified recovery address, we have no way to restore access after its password is lost.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and is described in full in the privacy page.

4. Your content

Your trades, notes, screenshots, and Strategy Profile remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the product for you: to store your content, display it back to you, and send the relevant parts to our AI provider when you ask for a review. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your journal to train AI models, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone other than the AI provider described in the privacy page.

Only upload content you have the right to upload, and do not use TradeLens to store anything unlawful.

5. AI-generated reviews

Reviews are produced by a language model and can be wrong. They may misread a chart, miscount, or draw a confident conclusion from too few trades. Sample sizes and confidence labels are shown so you can judge how much weight a review deserves.

Treat a review as a prompt to think, not as a finding. Verify anything you intend to act on against your own records.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first, scrape it, or resell access to it.

We may suspend or remove an account that does these things, or that puts other users' data at risk.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TradeLens AI is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the product.

This matters because of what TradeLens is: a journal you write in after the fact. It does not act on your behalf and cannot cause a trade.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and beta users are told directly. Continuing to use TradeLens after that means you accept the revised terms.
